Behringer DSP-1000 PRO Virtualizer |
|
|
Digital Dual-Engine 24-Bit Multi-Effect Processor,
fully programable either with alpha dial or MIDI editing software provided free by the manufacturer. The editing with led display is not comfortable.
The sound is crystal clear but also pretty sterile. Vocoder is useful but very digital in comparison with my Roland SVC-350 analogue machine,
voice distortion is fine for the EBM style vocals, tremolo, pitch shifter, rotary speaker
as well as the rest of the special effect bank are also good. I do not use reverbs at all. Virtualizer is a good cheap source for special effects
and it could be nice third or fourth EFX in your setup. I would not recommend it as a master EFX because of its digital sterility.
