Optimum variant for travelling in Dubai is to have your own car. If you don´t have you must rely on a local taxi service. Some of the taxi drivers are experienced and it´s not problem to rely on them. Unfortunatelly there are the taxi drivers and they are not few, who doesn´t know Dubai and they don´t know where are they going to (biginners). Some of them purposely take the longest way or make something like sightseeing tour without your permition or wish. It´s good to know the way you are going to or you must check the way with your city map.
