The reason of your visit would not be only this small colourfull town deriving its origin form ancient production of charcoal but as well family pharmacy named "U českého lva - At Czech Lion", situated only several meters from the central piazza.
There is notable something different from the large cities pharmacies working in supermarket's inpersonal style, here you can immediately feel infrequent kind-hearted interest of the personnel about their clients, any action here is not only mere medicine distribution but is always connected with advice including several words of consolation and those are in many cases really more valuable than the medicament. If the personal grace of the owner and her doughter are taken in account, nobody can leave unsatisfied and without healing sense in his soul.
Next and no less preferable are the prices, always acceptable for local inhabitants and always lower comparing to large cities pharmacies. No one would even believe that in this period of "ravenous capitalism" can exist "oasis", where is more important taking care about people and long time
perspective than
immediate profit.
Let's hope that places similar to that decribed above will grow up more and more across our country and the final solution (look to the right) will be postponed as far as possible.
