The village Celadná is situated in the mountain valley northeast of the Czech Republic, in the largest natural resort of The Beskydy mountains. The closest city is Ostrava, 30km far away (19 miles ). The region is famous for its virgine nature, rural character and the typical folk wooden architecture. The highest peak is 1324 m - Lysa Hora. You will find yourself in the pristine countryside, soothingly calm and quiet, breathing fresh air, looking up to the peaks covered with forests. The large part belongs to the natural reservation, protected by government, with many endangered species of flora and fauna. The local climate is typical for its four changing seasons, with pleasant temperatures in the summer around +25°C, in the winter season there may be snow applenty for winter sports, depending on the annual conditions. The snow cover s more likely in January and February.
The place is asking for exploring, on foot, on the bike, by ski, there is elaborated network of marked routes, which is very well maintained. By car, there are several interesting landmarks to visit, with remarkable architecture and history, restored with its original features, with the origins reaching to the medieval age.
Celadna has plenty to offer for the active holidays. There is a golfclub, newly built meeting latest europian standards, with 18 holes, train ramps, restaurant and panoramatic view to countryside.

There are several tennis courts, indoor tennis hall within the driving distance.
There is a posibility to order paragliding lessons or skidiving.
In the winter season, there are several ski pists in the vincity suitable for the beginners and family skiing, and a ski resort 12km far away for intermediate skiers. There is one black route to disposal.
As far as catering needs are concerned, there are several restaurants serving local and international cousine. You will find shops selling traditional manufactured products.
Public transport consists of railway and bus links, however, due to broadness of the place, it is well recommended to use either ones own or rented vehicle, and use the public transport as the alternative.
