We got the L-Spatz 55 from our Germany friends a few years ago. I told wiht technic inspectors of Civil Aviation Authority of Czech Republic about possibility to certificate the one in Czech Republic, before a few weeks. They don't beleve that this glider is able to fly without problems. They recommend me to ask Spatz producer (Scheibe Flugzeugbau München) for documents, where there are need to this type certificate. They mean especially firmness calculations of bearing areas.

I asked producer for this documents.
But he didn´t asked me.


I met a man, who bought L55-Spatz, which had been started rebuilded from glider to powered UL - the only way, how to fly with this aeroplane. He asked me to finished one.
There are some photos from work. Since the 28th May 2005 this UL Motor L55-SPATZ has been flying.
