Siemens S1 / S3

Tetris: Power on phone and enter PIN. before phone has locked onto network, F9, send own number, hit right button, hit 9. left is 2, right is 8, rotate is 5, and drop is 4.

Monitor Mode: Menu, 9 (Phone Options), 7 (Phone Status), Left Display Button (left MENU key), 5553756, HangUp Button (Red HandSet key)

Now "Monitor" should appear at the bottom of the Network Options menu.

Pressing the right Display Button when in monitor mode will show a list of the six cells with the strongest signals.

MONITOR MODE

The Siemens S3 Com series have a Monitor mode that can be activated directly from the standard user keypad. In order to activate this mode, you must enter the special access code currently programmed into the phone.

TO ACTIVATE MONITOR MODE:

1. Turn the phone on.
2. Enter the PIN access code on press OK. (Only if is enabled).
3. Press Menu. (Left top button).
4. Press 9. (Phone Options).
5. Press 8. (Phone Status) (May be button 7 in some phones).
   You may see your IMEI Number
6. Left Display Button (Top left MENU key).
7. 7684666
8. HangUp Button. (Red HandSet key).

Note: Monitor should appear now at the bottom of the Network Options menu.

Siemens S4/S4 Power

Siemens S6

Palms

Open your Phone book, Select "Own Phone No" , and add this number :
+12022243121  You will get a view of a desert, and MMI Team member names will scroll on screen

Restrictions

Remove your SIM Card and turn the S6 on. dial *#06# , this will bring the usual
IMEI Number screen, but, pressing Left menu Key twice will show the
Restrictions on your Phone.

Siemens S10

Here's a method to get a S10 to display palm tree's

Go to own phone book, change any entries phone number to:

- Phone book
-Own Phone No.
-View
-Select any unused entry or modify an existing
-View
- Edit
-change number to:

+12022243121

-Ok
-Ok (Edit text if you want)

Then voila, Palm tree's and MMI team!

Siemens S25/C25

Notes:

• The telephone detects the attached battery charger via Pin 2 and controls this via a PCM signal at the same pin.
• Accessories are detected via Pins 7 and 8
• The Headset identifies itself through HIGH/LOW instead of HIGH/HIGH

Siemens C25

• SP unlock: *#0003*(secret code 8 digits)#
  if you lost your security code, you can get a 8-digit number from your siemens hotline, which will delete the security code
   
• Show IMEI code: *#06#
  reset to factory defaults: *#9999#
  (does not change settings on your sim card or in your network)
   
• 5 x "no catch":
  (remove sim card first)
  *#0606# + left softkey -> <number>
  shows you, if there is a simlock enabled (up to 5 locks possible)
   
• !providername on your display: the ! means: transmission is unencrypted pay attention or only emergency call possible
   
• Resets language to automatic selection: *#0000# then green button
   
• Resets language to english: *#0001# then green button (useful, if you changed to a language you don't understand)
   
• How to distinguish a c25 from a c25 power:
  c25 handys have firmware versions: 5,8,10,12
  c25 power handys have firmware versions: (41?),43,46,49
  In most cases, c25 power handys also have an isolated "P" on the sticker under the accu look at the barcode under the accu:
  first 4 digits are: "44 91" --> c25 power
  first 4 digits are: "44 88": --> c25
   
• Show your firmware revision: switch off your handy, remove your sim card, switch on again and enter *#06# and then press the left display button, it will show you something like 12/XX/XX, where 12 is your version
  actual version C25: 12
  actual version C25 Power: 49

Siemens S1

• Here's a trick to play Tetris, also known as Klotz on a Siemens S1.
  Turn the phone on. Enter PIN. Before the telephone has logged in to the your GSM net do the following steps.
  1: Choose F 9 (function settings)
  2: Choose send own number and push the right button for choose.
  3: Push 9
  USE 2 as < and 8 as > , rotate the klotz with 5 and drop with 4.
  [I have just heard from one of the programmers of the phone that Tetris was in the phone during development, but it was removed before it was produced. Apparantly someone has the patent on games in mobile phones and Siemens didn't want to pay the licensing fees. It was either in Menu F-9-9 or it's not there at all.]

• In phonebook under "Own Phone No." enter +12022243121 (which is the number to the White House) and you'll get a greeting from the people who programmed the phone.

Siemens S6

• In Phonebook, store as your own number: +12022243121
  Then you get the sun and two palms in the display, also a greating message of the "MMI-team".
  It has been said that the phone number is the number of the Capitol building in Washington, DC (but not sure).
