Sometimes in the first half of 13th century,
under king Vaclav I., was built, instead of ruinous Sedlec castle, on the perfect position,
protected by the river, the new stone castle ( reminded since 1234 ) and the royal town with.
It was fortifyed by mighty bastions in the Gotic style and it has only one entry.
Under king Vaclav IV. they rebuild the castle to the current look.
