My name is Jiri Smejkal.

I´m Czech (teacher of English + authorized English interpreter).

I live and work in Sokolov. I´m divorced.

My hobbies are:

hiking, biking, listening to culture radio programmes,reading, , etc.

E.g. once I really enjoyed listening to the recording of the "Pygmalion" by G.B. Shaw, radio drama broadcasted on BBC radio.

Besides my teaching of English, occasionally I am asked to do some (authorized) translations. Quite an interesting experience was to interpret at the Czech/English or American weddings, above all in Loket. The weddings here are provided in historical costumes, with "historical" speech, accompanied by the performance of sword fighters, actors in historical costumes,....
