I was born in 1971 in Prague and I grew up in the family of a passionate modeler. I recall times when I used to sit with my father and he was making models. It is no wonder that aeromodeling and their flying became also my main hobby. Very soon I found my specialization in captive models and mainly engines, which were most fascinating for me. Id did not take long and I managed to gather fairly high number of engines from my colleagues and friends from near and wide. During my long-standing collecting activity I have more than 1.000 pieces of model engines prevalently of Czech production. Since I have pursued collecting of model engines more then 20 years, I have become one of the leading collectors and perhaps also experts on old engines in the Czech Republic. I am a member of several modelers clubs from both the Czech SAM 78 and the international club of engine collectors MECA. A book Czech model engines is basically zenith of my collecting activity and desire to share with all persons concerned the model history and engines and especially enjoyment I have from my collection.

I was born in 1972. My hobbies have always been of technical nature. Electronics and aeromodeling became later my passion. Electronic and computers are also my job now and aeromodeling have stayed my big hobby since. During the last years digital photography have gone through significant development and I have added this field to my interests. Formation of this book was very interesting for me because I could join the three of my hobbies together as I am the author of all photographs and prepared the book composition in the computer. Hundreds of beautiful and interesting books and documents have passed through my hands during several years of the book preparation. They are the best proof of handicraft of the Czech modelers.
